Recently on an install of www.mydea.info it was noticed that something is unsantizing your environment, this is when you recieve error messages for systems that do not even exist in the process being done by the internet or coming to you from your DSL.

MYDEA (Media) Empowerment is a site by a collegue and friend Roy Smith, this was being worked on during the con-current processes I have found myself in my software development base.

This FC is in caution to you as it was repaired from what desantized your insanziation of the software in your own hosting provider, but remember you have the exact same copy that I am running, and yes I do zip them at the hosting local, for some reason also in this I have the old logo appear that was never even put on the internet..

The X-Center is and will remain quiet popular as I have had many enquires about the content module so I have revamped it and released it to you.

My Development Scedule after I have been released, will be the follow process:

ShoutBox is an XOOPS module that provides an interactive block and pop-up window for visitors to post and view messages. In this release we redesigned the captcha feature so we are no longer employing a local copy of the captcha class. For captcha to function properly on sites with older versions of XOOPS such as 2.0.18.2, Frameworks 1.35 must also be installed. If you are running XOOPS 2.3.x and you have Frameworks 1.35 installed then you have the option of using Frameworks captcha OR core captcha selectable through module Preferences. Other features in this release are the addition of wordwrap setting and enable/disable display of avatars in the ShoutBox block. These options are specifically targeted for those who are displaying the ShoutBox in a very narrow column. By adjusting the wordwrap setting you can eliminate the appearance of the horizontal scrollbar and by disabling the display of avatars you have more room for text to be displayed.

This release has been tested on XOOPS 2.0.18.2 and XOOPS 2.3.0

Calling for Marketing Experts

Now that XOOPS is back on track:

* XOOPS 2.3.1 released
* 11,000 downloads in first 4 weeks
* finalist in SourceForge Community Awards in Best Project category
* finalist in Packt Publishing CMS Awards
* Board of Advisers established

we need to let the world know about it. For many years it seemed like XOOPS is the "best kept secret".

Once discovered and given a chance, the users love it. But we need more people to know about it

Interestingly enough, XOOPS members had already this idea before, but it seems like it unfortunately died. It was called the "Spread XOOPS Project"

As we hate to reinvent the wheel (that's why we've re-started the WOX (World of XOOPS) Newsletter, that was also dormant for many years), we'll be restarting now the "Spread XOOPS Project" Initiative.

So today we are calling for all Marketing/Communication/PR experts from all over the world to help us in spreading the good news about XOOPS.

Even if you're not an expert, but would like to get involved in our Marketing Team and help, please join us. We will need people who can help us in reaching to local communities, promoting XOOPS on social networks, to local schools, universities, and local governments.

As it was said almost three years ago:

Your donation will be used to promote and advance the use and development of the XOOPS system.

We believe that we're have made major improvements in 2008, and set a strong foundation for years to come. We finally have a merged XOOPS version 2.3.1, and we're looking forward to the upcoming XOOPS 3.0 version.

We also enjoy an extremely strong and dedicated worldwide community, and we're looking forward to work with each and every one of you to make XOOPS the best it can be!!!
